I have a confession to make… I’ve never made Christmas morning breakfast! Not once. Not even Santa hat omelets. Or french toast with red sprinkles. Heck, I’ve never even made festive hot chocolate in the morning! But this year… this is the year that I’m making Christmas breakfasts a tradition for my whole family.

Bad mom moment, I know. But something you just need to know about me: I’m just not a breakfast person. Eggs are gross, sausage is disgusting, and I’ve been avoiding gluten and sugar… other than the glory that is bacon, what else is there for me to eat? So my husband has always been in charge of breakfast foods for special occasions (I can make a mean yogurt and granola or a sliced up apple every other day of the week).

But this year, as part of my new Christmas traditions, I’m going to make some sort of Christmas morning breakfast that’s special. Courtesy of Pinterest, I found out that A LOT of other people have this same tradition every year! So you’ll get to see a nice variety of breakfast options here, and hopefully, you (and I) will make a tradition-worthy Christmas breakfast!
