WNBA Player Props Predictions: Tina Charles Atlanta Dream OVER 12.5 Points (-120) FD

Atlanta Dream center Tina Charles is coming off a game where she scored 22 points on 6-11 from the field and 9-10 from the charity stripe against the Chicago Sky.

Charles already faced the Washington Mystics once this season and scored 17 points on 7-11 from the field and 3-4 from the free-throw line.

Now the Mystics starting center Shakira Austin has missed the last four games and the opposition has feasted including Jonquel Jones scoring 29 points & Angel Reese scoring a career high 16 points.

Austin is listed as questionable for tonight’s contest but even if she does return it will be with a minute’s restriction. Washington is the worst team in the WNBA by a wide margin as the leagues only winless team with an 0-12 record.

The Mystics also allow the 4th most points (83.8/game) and most free throws per game with 22.38 per game. Look for Charles to continue to expose the Mystics weakness down low and clear this manageable total.

WNBA Player Props Predictions: Alanna Smith Minnesota Lynx OVER 4.5 Rebounds (-114) FD

Minnesota Lynx forward Alanna Smith has only recorded 5+ rebounds in 5 of 11 games this season while averaging 4.4 rebounds per game.

However, one of those games came against the Las Vegas Aces (6) who allow the most rebounds to the opposition with 37.3 per game. Smith has actually cleared this line each of her last five head-to-head games against the Aces when playing 20+ minutes with 6, 7, 6, 8 & 8 rebounds and she’s averaging 28 minutes per game on the season.

Smith is listed as a forward but basically plays the center position and we have seen opposing centers feast on the boards against Vegas recently including Cameron Brink (6) and Ezi Magbegor (15).

This is also a pace up spot as the Aces play at the WNBAs fastest tempo which should lead to additional rebound chances. The spread is only -6.5 so Smith should see the full minutes necessary to clear this rebound total.
