Cinnamon Ice Cream Recipe
In This Article
Cinnamon ice cream…ahh, the delicious warmth of cinnamon paired with the creaminess of ice cream is the ultimate comfort food.
The Verdict
This is another one of my go-to ice cream flavors.
I love it because the flavor is the perfect compliment to many hot fruit desserts.
My favorite way to serve this ice cream flavor is pairing this ice cream beside an apple crisp. Absolutely divine.
I love the flavor of the melting ice cream mixing into the hot apple crisp.
The cinnamon adds additional flavor and warmth. Seriously, this is comfort for at its finest.
Easy Peasy
This ice cream is extremely easy to make.
It is no more difficult than a simple vanilla ice cream. So there is really no reason not to change up your ice cream repertoire and give this ice cream a try.
The Cinnamon
When you mix the cinnamon into your base, you will find that for the most part the cinnamon has a tendency to sink to the bottom of the mixture.
Just make sure that the ice cream is freshly stirred before pouring it in the ice cream maker so that the cinnamon won’t get left behind.
Don’t worry about it for the most part however. When you freeze the ice cream base in your ice cream maker, the cinnamon will get thoroughly mixed and distributed throughout.
Serving Tip
This ice cream is the perfect treat to serve with hot fruit desserts. Whether it’s…apple crisp, peach cobbler, cherry pie…this easy-to-make ice cream is a great match!
